Jones Family Photo Session - Oahu, Hawaii

The Jones family were refered to me from a good friend as they were looking for a family style photographer. Now I don't claim to be a family photographer as most of my clients are engagements and weddings but I decided to take the job and give it a try.

Something I pride myself on is being able to make people feel relaxed in front of the camera, its a skill every photographer should have. Nobody wants high shoulders and stiff smiles, I love working with people, making them relax, share a genuine laugh and have them walk away from the shoot remembering the good time they had.

The jones were no exception, what an amazing family! They were fun to work with, adventurous and the photos show it. We also combined the session with a graduation shoot for their eldest daughter, Jordan who was an absolute star to work with. She was pretty excited about the smoke bomb Id brought as a prop, something I do from time to time.

Im looking forward to more and more Family shoots and will be offering them as an option on my site along with graduation sessions and portraits.
